Change of Name With effect from 01 November 2009 we have changed our name to United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (‘the Authority’ for short) As a result all invoices relating to UKAEA raised against Purchase Orders in the range 3000****** should be made out to United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority as shown on the above letterhead (not “UKAEA” as previously). The invoicing address remains unchanged at: Accounts Payable K2/1.08 Culham Science Centre Abingdon OXON OX14 3DB. Please continue to send invoices to this address as shown on the Purchase Orders. This change has come about as the commercial arm of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (known as ‘UKAEA Ltd’) was sold to Babcock International on 01 November 2009 and as part of the terms of the sale Babcock have the sole right to use the brand ‘UKAEA’. As the remaining part of the organisation based around fusion research at Culham, Oxfordshire we will retain the long form name of “United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority” and our e-mail addresses are …..@ccfe.ac.uk, CCFE (Culham Centre for Fusion Energy) the Fusion arm of the Authority. |
